Biography

Justin Hossle spent his youth on a farm in Southwest Iowa. After graduating from high school in Red Oak, IA, he relocated to Cedar Falls, IA to pursue a degree in Theater Performance at the University of Northern Iowa.  Two years into the degree, Justin found an interest in stage managing during a fluke stage management position at Theater L'Homme Dieu.

From that point forward, Justin was a stage manager.  He finished his degree in performance, and believes that this degree helps him greatly while stage managing.  During his two remaining years at the University of Northern Iowa, Justin stage managed many shows and took all necessary classes to feel prepared for the "real world."

Upon graduation, Justin and his partner, Clint Clark, relocated to Minneapolis, MN where Justin began freelancing throughout the cities as well as nationally.

In June of 2007 Justin joined the Actors' Equity Association (AEA).

Justin has worked for many companies as a stage manager and assistant stage manager, including: The Guthrie Theater, The Minnesota Opera, Shakespeare and Company, The Caldwell Theater, Mixed Blood Theater, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Theater Latté Da, Minnesota Jewish Theater.

Currently, Justin works with the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, MN and resides with his partner, Clint Clark, and their two cats in Uptown Minneapolis.  From time to time, he travels the country freelancing as a Stage Manager as well.
